Has anyone played Badugi Yet on FT?

I know they have just added Badugi to FT so I was wondering if any have played it there yet? If so, how was it like and did you do any good?

The only place I played it was at PS a couple of years ago but I haven't played at the site probably for that long now either.

Also, what are your likes and dislikes in Badugi?

I've never played badugi in my life so I haven't taken a shot. I've been too focused on losing money playing PLO

Yes i like this game alot and use to pla it all the time on PS when i played on there and have been playin it alot since FTP added it, its a pretty easy game MSU u should try it, lowest hand wins and each card has to be a different suit so A234 of all 4 different suits is the best hand possible.

I've played it a little and am slowly trying to add it to razz as a game I do well at. Had early success, but struggling more since this was the first time I played it, when FTP introduced it. If you get a hold of the basic strategy, it could definitely be a profitable game, especially since, there's a lot of fish playing it now because it's "new" on FTP.

Yes there are a ton of fish who play it, i dont know how many times i have been dealt a badugi right off with either 8 or lower or 7 or lower and get called and then they draw 3 cards and keep callin and eventually hit their badugi.

Wow so is it a lot like O8 where some people have an idea, but most have no clue making it an incredibly profitable game? If so, maybe you'll have to educate us.

Yes it is just like that, so many people chase just like they chase the low hands in O8, the only difference is there is no high winner in Badugi. I see people all the time callin a 4 bet wit 1 draw left and still chasin 2 cards and its amazing how many times they end up hittin their badugi.

But this does happen alot in any limit game, not just badugi. I liked playing this game for something different, it is fun to play but takes longer in a tournament.
