Thread: My Best Brag, EVER, EVER, EVER!

This weekend I was invited to go to Laughlin, for a WSOP ME freeroll courtesy of Harrah's, Laughlin. I have played in a good many of these in the past, but my personal best was making it to day 2 at Bally's a couple weeks ago, for $100, but not making it to the finals.

This weekend was so different, I don't have the words for it. On Saturday, I played the 1st round. It was a double shootout.Top 2 finishers from each table (of 10) from each session, made it to the semi finals. There were 240 (I think) entrants. I made it to the top 2 on Saturday. This win gave me a ticket to the Semi finals. That game played down to a single winner. I will post the pics of the semi final HU and my winning hand from the semi final table, after the text.

I won that table. Thirty minutes after that game, the final table play began. All 10 finishers from the semi finals made it to the money. 10th-5th got $250. 4th got $500. 3rd got $1,000, 2nd got $2,000 and 1st place got either the WSOP ME seat or the cash equivalent translation of $8,000.

When I knocked out the guy in 3rd, I ask the other man standing if he would chop. he said no. So, I went to super aggro mode and in 3 hands he asked me if I still wanted to chop. If I said yes, I had a guaranteed $5,000. If I said no, I had the 'possibility' of $8,000 or $2,000. Well, I had 2 high credit card balances and the $5,000 would help me almost pay them off entirely, so I said yes. We shook on it and split $10,000. This is my best brag, ever, because this is such an improvement from all of my earlier outings in these Harrah's WSOP ME freerolls.
