European Masters of Poker Season III Announced

The European Masters of Poker has announced details of season III, which is set to kick off on January 20th in Gran Canaria, Spain. The EMOP season 3 will take in six cities across the continent including a new stop in Dublin, Ireland.

The preliminary schedule is:
January 20 to 23: Gran Canaria, Canary Islands
March 23 to 26: Lisbon, Portugal
June 2 to 5: Tallinn, Estonia
July 28 to 31: Dublin, Ireland
September TBC: Malta
November TBC: Barcelona, Spain

Casino Las Palmas, Gran Canaria will offer live satellites for the €1,000 + €100 main event from January 20 to 23, 2011. Players can also qualify for EMOP Gran Canaria through regularly scheduled satellites and feeders on all online poker sites on the Entraction network including premium partners 24hPoker.com, C4A.com, NoIQPoker.com, Pokerihuone.com, and Pokerdassi.com for as little as €2 or 200 VIP points. Partners in the Entraction poker network will send at least 200 qualifiers to each event.

There are at least 24 daily satellites feeding into the main weekly qualifiers which take place:
Each Tuesday at 20:40 CET - £100 buy in, 4 packages worth €2,000 each guaranteed
Each Thursday at 20:40 CET - £100 buy in, 4 packages worth €2,000 each guaranteed
Each Sunday at 20:40 CET - £200 buy in, 6 packages worth €2,000 each guaranteed

All European Masters of Poker Season III main events will feature an improved tournament structure which will see some new levels introduced such as 150-300 with a 25 ante and 1200-2400 with a 300 ante. Finally the distribution of points for the EMOP board has been improved and EMOP Online will now run every month throughout season III.
