Cake Poker announces February promotions

Cake Poker is preparing for a full month of promotions, satellites and special events offered to players regardless of their level, experience or bankroll. CakePoker's Gold Spree promotion will return in February to challenge players to win cash, Irish Open 2011 satellite tournaments continue, Super Sundays draws to a close with its final tournament and WAR and Tourney Blackjack offer players a shot at free cash with plenty of freerolls.

Running from February 1st through 28th, Cake's Gold Spree promotion will challenge players to meet personalized, weekly Frequent Player Point (FPP) targets. FPPs are earned by taking part in any real money ring games and tournaments, and are used to unlock bonuses and earn various player rewards. Players who meet their FPP target will be automatically entered into a kamikaze tournament for their shot at some free cash. Kamikazes range from $500 for meeting one weekly target to $5,000 for meeting all four weekly targets.

CakePoker.com continues its daily 2011 Irish Open satellites with buy ins starting for as little as $1.10 and offering players the chance to vie for a $7,000 Irish Open prize package which includes a main event seat at the Irish Open worth €3,500, a five-night stay at Irish Open host venue, The Burlington Hotel, $1,500 USD cash for travel expenses, well as an official Cake Poker gear pack.

February will also see the final Super Sundays tournament, taking place on the first Sunday in February at 2:00 pm EST. This $30 + $3 buy in tournament will see the winner walk away with more than just their share of the pot. The player who claims the top spot in this tournament will also receive $100 added to the Cake Poker player account.

Lastly, players will have plenty of chances to fund their bankrolls with cash through Tourney Blackjack Freerolls and a $500 Guaranteed WAR Tournament.
