• Latin American Poker Tour returns to Chile for 2011 LAPT Chile National Poker Championship

    After two highly successful events at the PCA and Sao Paulo, the PokerStars Latin American Poker Tour Season 4 is getting ready to return to the beautiful city of Viña del Mar in Chile for the 2011 LAPT Chile National Poker Championship.

    The event marks the comeback of the Latin American Poker Tour in Chile after the cancellation of last year´s event due to a devastating earthquake. The tournament will be a four day event, hosted at Enjoy Viña del Mar Casino and Resort, March 17th-20th, 2011. The Main Event has a buy-in of $1,000 + $100 entry fee, and each day 1 will be capped at 300 players.

Our partnership with the Enjoy Group, the leading live poker operator in Chile, is very strong, and we are looking forward to an exceptional tournament" commented David Carrion, Present of the LAPT.

    Players have multiple opportunities to take part in the main event, either by buying in directly on-site or qualifying via live or online satellites. The cheapest way to play the PokerStars LAPT Main Event, is by entering a the available freerolls starting on February 21st on PokerStars.net. Live satellites are currently running every week at Vina del Mar Enjoy Casino.
