• European Poker Tour moves Season 7 Grand Final Event to Casino Grand Madrid

    After six successful seasons closing its tournament calendar in Monte Carlo, Monaco, the PokerStars European Poker Tour will head for first time to Madrid, Spain, for the EPT Season 7 Grand Final. According to a recent press announcement, the last event of the PokerStars EPT season 7 will be housed in the Casino Gran Madrid from May 7-12, 2011.

    "We wanted somewhere new, dynamic and inspiring, and just knew that Madrid would tick all the boxes for the traveling poker player, regardless of age or desires. The same familiar team will be running the event and the schedule will provide something for everyone. All the usual qualifying satellites will be held on PokerStars.com and other regional versions of the site, giving all players of all nationalities the opportunity to join us in launching from our new home. Hasta la vista!" explains EPT chief executive John Duthie.

    The Casino Gran Madrid will play host €10,000+€600 main event as well as a €25,000 High Roller event. Additional details on the full schedule of event will be announced soon. The European Poker Tour also announced the dates for EPT San Remo, which runs from Apr. 27 to May 3 at Casino San Remo.
