European Poker Tour to host Champion of Champions tournament at EPT Grand Final

The European Poker Tour (EPT) is set to crown its Champion of Champions in a special invitational tournament is scheduled to take place during the final day of the EPT Grand Final festival in Madrid (May 13th).


The invitational event is open to all EPT main event winners from all seven seasons. Participants will play against in a freeroll for a share of the €100,000 worth of EPT buy-ins. All 67 champions from the first seven seasons have been invited to play the event, including professional poker players Jason Mercier, Patrik Antonius, Roland de Wolfe, Gavin Griffin and Liv Boeree.


The top four finishers will share €100,000 worth of EPT Season 8 passports. The prizes are as follows:


1st place - €50,000 EPT Season 8 Passport
2nd place - €25,000 EPT Season 8 Passport
3rd place - €15,000 EPT Season 8 Passport
4th place - €10,000 EPT Season 8 Passport


The event will be filmed for TV broadcast and featured on the EPT Live webcast on PokerStars.tv.
