Springfest Poker Festival returns this weekend to PKR.com

Online poker room PKR.com have announced that its Springfest Poker Festival will begin on Friday, April 22^nd and run through to Sunday, May 8^th, with $120,000 in guaranteed prizepools to be won across 12 events.

The tournament series offer a schedule designed to appeal to poker players of all levels and bankrolls, Springfest kicks-off this Friday at 18:00 GMT in the shape of an $8,000 EXP Deeper and Steeper tournament. Other events include a $20,000 EXP Super Deep Stack and a $10,000 EXP Speed (7 seater).

As with previous Springfest's, on Wednesday, April 27^th, players will also have the chance to compete for added bonus cash amounts by busting PKR Staff and Pro players in the $13,000 EXP Bounty (8 seater). Any player holding the 'PKR_' prefix to their name in that tournament will have a $50 bounty on their head which will be won by those who knock them out of the event. In total there are ten bounties up for grabs.

For the first time ever, PKR Poker is also taking 5% from all Springfest prizepools and giving players the chance to play for that amount in a variable stack freeroll on Sunday, May 8^th at 16:00 GMT. Anybody playing in a Springfest event will secure a seat at the freeroll with an extra 500 chips being added to their starting stack for every subsequent Springfest event they play in.
