• Poker Pro Annie Duke to host Charity Poker Tournament for Life Rolls On Foundation

Professional poker player and National Heads Up Champion, Annie Duke, will join Life Rolls On Founder Jesse Billauer to host “A Night of Poker”, a special charity event benefiting Billauer’s non-profit organization Life Rolls On Foundation (LRO), which improves the quality of life for young people affected by spinal cord injury.

The event will take place at Hustler Casino in Gardena, CA, on Saturday, May 7th. Among the celebrity guests playing in the tournament are Hawaii Five-O star Scott Caan, model Joanna Krupa, Grammy-award winner Jason Mraz, tennis star Mark Philippoussis, and actress Amy Smart.

The winner of “A Night of Poker” will get a seat to play the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event valued at $10,000. Other prizes for players at the final table include unique items such as a two-hour private poker lesson with Annie Duke. All players receive a limited-edition tournament baseball cap and t-shirt courtesy of Hurley and Power 106.

“Annie Duke is an icon in the poker community and to have her support for this event, along with the participation of so many of my friends, is truly an honor. I’m grateful to everyone who made this event possible, including the outstanding tournament team at Hustler Casino, because proceeds raised from the evening will fund LRO’s quality of life programs that push the boundaries of possibility for individuals living with paralysis.” said Jesse Billauer, who also serves as the Life Rolls On’s Director of National Outreach.
