Poker Players Alliance launches own iPhone app

The Poker Players Alliance, the leading poker grassroots advocacy group with more than one million members nationwide, has launched a new iPhone app with an innovative click to call Congress feature. The app provides poker players nationwide with an innovative new tool for asking their members of Congress to support the legalization of internet poker.

"Our members are extremely tech savvy and always looking for more ways to show their support for protecting their right to play poker. The PPA iPhone app, like our Tweet for Poker website, provides a cutting edge tool for our members to quickly and easily show their support for online poker," said John Pappas, executive director of the PPA.

Thanks to PPA's new app, users will only need to click the new Congress feature and they will be automatically connected via phone to their member of Congress' office in Washington, D.C. Additionally, users can access the latest PPA tweets, tournament feeds from Bluff Magazine, and the most recent news and updates from PPA. PPA members can also find other members in their hometown and enter contests and promotions with an innovative 'scan barcode' function.
