    February Iron Man Pursuit Thread

February 1 is the start of Full Tilt Poker's next Iron Man. Who's going for it?

I qualified for Bronze in January playing in just 15 days.

My goal is to qualify for Silver, 125 points a day for 20 days.

    Here are the point lvl's

It is time consuming. For the most part I just play during the happy hours to earn ftps quicker. Maybe 90 minutes a day will get me 125 ftps.

Infact if you play during the happy hour you do earn FTpoints in your account two times faster, but for those that are not familiar with the Ironman promotion, consider that happy hour points do not count towards the Ironman status. If you have earned 20 points playing entirely during the happy hour period, only 10 points count for the Ironman status and are displayed in your Ironman page on the corrispondent day.
So when it comes to earning points in relation to your Ironman status it makes no difference whether you play during regular or happly hour periods.

Yes I've heard that. But whenever I play during happy hour then check my ironman page, it has included the ftps I earned during the HH towards my day. It's possible I am simply miscalculating, but so far they have counted. I guess it also helps I tend to earn far more than 125 points total over the course of the day. I don't like to play short sessions.

Just looked and this was in the rules. I guess I'm not paying close enough attention.

Please note that bonus points earned during Happy Hours do not count towards points targets for other promotions, such as the Iron Man Challenge, or towards clearing bonuses, such as the First Deposit Bonus.
