Holiday tournaments

I think it's pretty common for poker rooms to offer special tournaments with juiced up prize pools for holiday tournaments. Did anyone play in any Thanksgiving tourneys??

not a thanksgiving one but i played the $3 rush tourney today which was a $64,000 guarantee for rush week. there was appx a $15,000 overlay. i didnt even cash

I didn't have time to play in the Thanksgiving tournaments, didn't even see them I don't think.

Maybe I can get some time to play in the Christmas tournaments though, would be nice to win something

Same here, I didn't see any special holiday tourneys. I'll be on the lookout for Xmas though! ^^

Yea hopefully i can get my bankroll back up before Xmas just in case there are sum good holiday tourneys out there

I know FTP used to juice up all kinds of tournaments. I think one year they even had a special Martin Luther King Junior tournament or something, no joke.

Maybe for Christmas they'll do something.

How big was that tourny? they prolly do them for every holiday but i just never noticed lol.
