My read, in the limped pot, was the guy didn't have any pair in his hand. After the flop flat call I thought he probably had a flush draw. I shoved the turn because I became the favorite even though he had 2 overs and a flush draw.
If he had shoved over my flop bet I probably have to fold it out.

the guy in seat 1 seems to be a donk, what with having the chip lead and all
but yeah, i like the flop size bet and when you put the pressure on him on the turn.. he probably would have raised otf if he had a jack
The I just folded out Ravens, when the bigstack had 32 against QKo, I made a bad laydown.
77 up front.
I intended to call down the bigstack, but once the shortstack came along I thought I was beat in at least one spot or at worst, up against a flush draw with 2 overs like A9s or something.

Tough loss Msu, u got ur money in wit the best of it though, so good game.
Arguably could have easily folded out JJ there.
Preflop raise and I call with position, the donk big stack 3bet shoves from the blinds. Once the preflop raiser calls I need to seriously consider laying down JJ.
But, as this was just a 50 FTP game and you need chips to finish in the top 1% and win entry .... I was happy to stack off. Kinda hoped I was up against AQ and AK or something. They'd have each others outs.

Oh yeah, definitely. The hand I laid down with 77 from EP was a bit tougher. Since there was a sidepot, the more I think abuot it, the more I think the laydown was wrong.
But here's the thing, he could've easily had a 5. I've seen him shove probably 60-70% of his hands. So that probably includes A5s+, 22+ and any suited gap cards like 86.

It was hard to put him on an exact hand cuz as u said he was pushing majority of the time wit hands like 23, pp's and AK. I dont think u should look back and think u made the wrong play on that 77 hand cuz remember the cards would of been different if u played, u did eventually end up gettin ur chips in wit the best of it but u took a bad beat, so i always say if u get ur money in wit the best of it then there is nuthin u can do about it and u know u made the right play.
