Maybe he had just come in from saving a bus full of nuns.

This is the definition of a slow roll.

To take an inordinate amount of time to call an all-in bet or raise as the last player to act and nobody else besides the all-in player remaining in the hand, all while holding the nuts. It is considered very unsportsmanlike.

    ---

By definition, someone can't slow roll you by acting first.

Now, its possible he timed down to see if the other shortstack would call, but that player was so short it makes no difference, his stack was inconsequential to the action and actually it'd be worse to get it against 2 instead of 1.

im not a big fan of slow roll playing.it never fails that i ened up losing unless i flop fh or a strong str8 or flush. and it doesnt always win, lol.it seems to be an addictive way of play for alot of players these days though.

Well just so you know MSU if me and you are in a hand like this in the future and i take a few seconds to call its not because i "slowrolled" you lol. Im usually doing other things while im playing so that will be my reason lol. Like yesterday in the FPCBR tourny i hit quad K's and didnt know until the hand was over when i seen people saying nh lol.

I would never assume people I know are slow rolling me.

Random however are a different story, I give them no credit.
