Since PLO is a game of draws, when you're out of position (OOP) and flop top pair with only 2 pair outs on a wet board, you really don't want to be check calling a flop cbet. Unless you know, with certainty, that the villain is continuation betting a draw of some sort and are willing to call down on the turn and river if bricks come off, there's really no way your hand can improve.
Take top pair against a wrap and flush draw, you're in big trouble. Even if you have top set against a wrap and flush draw and you're still a dog on the flop.
No limit holdem players transitioning need to understand this basic concept. Against combo draws you'll likely be facing at least 2 streets worth of bets and top pair, and maybe even two pair, can't really face a lot of heat.
