I take pretty detailed notes on players. This is a real problem though when I'm trying to quick scan through them to get the best read on what my opponent is doing.
What sort of notes do you guys take? Short quick notes like "LAG - fish" or do you go into more depth with information like bet sizing and position?

I note a general impression and then specific hands/plays that support that impression.

What I find works well is just write down every sort of information you can, and then at the top just summarize it into a few brief points. So for instance, player notes on FSUDuster
A) Doesn't c-bet flops unless he hits (sort of a paradox but still, just an example)
B) Only opens premium hands from EP and bets 3x the bb
C) Never folds flush draws
Then below it I just write down summarized hh's into each category as "proof" and incase I want to see an example of it. For me, it doesn't matter how long my notes are, as I often just glance at the main points I have made.
Color coding is key too
