Tom Dwan confirmed via Twitter that he will NOT be playing on the upcoming season of High Stakes Poker.
If Dwan isn't playing, I don't think it'd be likely we see Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen, or Patrik Antonius play either. I specifically mentioned those three as they're the most likely to appear based on popularity and the action they give. I guess Mike Matusow could be tossed into that grouping as well.

Dwan is prolly the biggest of the cash game players and without him on there other players will not wanna be on there either.
I'm still pretty disappointed there won't be any FTP players showing up in this coming season.
I'm also disappointed Kara Scott is going to be back. She didn't really add anything last season. Maybe they should put her in the booth with Gabe Kaplan so they can get a little banter going. Then she can do and do the bustout interviews which I'm sure players love, trying to explain in a nice manner how or why they lost 6 figures and went busto.
