He must be someone of the Ocean's 11 plot.

Las Vegas police are seeking a man who robbed the Bellagio at gunpoint Tuesday morning and got away with more than $1.5 million in chips.
Police said a man walked into the pit area of the casino about 3:50 a.m. wearing a full-face motorcycle helmet and a leather jacket.
The man demanded money, which he received, and then exited the casino. He fled west on Flamingo Road on a motorcycle, police said.

Damn clooney, give it back!!!
Thought that only happened in movies lol, with all the security in a casino how did he get away?
That is a very surprising story to me.
You would think that people wouldn't be able to get away with trying to rob a casino.
The guy who robbed them already got caught. The Bellagio has RFID chips in all the larger denomination chips. This guy also robbed the Suncoast last week for 20k.

I guess there's RFID tags in some of the chips, that's the rumor at least. I'm guessing only the big chips, like 5k+ have the RFID tags.

On Fox 5 Vegas the gaming security expert Jeff Voyles said that although the thief's actions were bold, there's 'no way' he'll be able to cash them in.
The higher denomination chips, Voyles said, "most likely have serial numbers on them or they have an embedded chip called RFID (radio frequency identification). They're able to track them, so they know exactly what chips were stolen off that game."
Police said an immediate hold was placed on the chips, so any attempt to launder them at other casino properties could prove futile.
"Every casino has been alerted, so for him to come back in a year (or) two years, it would be very difficult to do that," Voyles said.
Voyles speculated that the thief had inside knowledge of which game tables would have the high denomination chips.
The more sophisticated the crime, the more collusion base it has," Voyles said. "In this particular instance, he probably had intel. I don't know if it came from employees but it came from someone looking out, letting him know that the high denominations were on this crap table, which is not common."
