Ok ... so follow me on this rabbit hunt ...
Last night I stayed up to watch an old episode of Conan O'Brien. I watched to see Seth Rogen's interview and caught Brittany Snow after Seth Rogen.
Brittany Snow talked about how she recently turned 25 and spent her birthday in Las Vegas. They went to some club and she danced forever while glowsticking.
Glowsticking is dancing with a glowstick ( duh ).
When I was 18 I used to drive around Michigan with my friends looking for underground raves / parties. From Grand Rapids to old warehouses outside of Detroit (the birthplace of Techno) we went everywhere. I remember getting hit in the back of the head by some jerk who put his glowsticks on strings. If you can do it properly it looks pretty awesome. In a crowded rave it's not awesome. It's just being a total D Bag.
Fast forward to tonight. I was looking at Fatboy Slim's website to see if he was swinging through Maryland, DC, or Virginia this year (he's not) and then went to YouTube where somehow, through the miracle of random searches for the Beastie Boys ... I found this girl, Anna Schlosser. She's pretty awesome and the music she set her videos too are pretty good too.
