    Crying

Have you ever seen someone crying while you walk down the street? Did you ask them if they were ok?

Nope, but I probably would ask them if everything is alright.

There was a stretch last fall where I saw girls crying everywhere.

One was sitting behind a clothes rack at Ann Taylor Loft ( I was inside waiting for my wife ) and a few days later I saw a girl crying walking down the street after work. Both girls were on their phone.

Tonight I saw a girl crying on her phone again.

It's tough because I have empathy, I don't want anyone to be sad. But I also don't want to barge into a situation where I don't have any context. I certainly don't want to interrupt any sort of phone call where important information is being passed along.

I guess if some girl or guy was stationary and not on their phone I'd stop and ask.

I would definately ask them if they were ok if I saw someone crying on the street. I hate seeing people sad too, and sometimes just a little gesture to that sadden person helps cheer them up some.

It depend on the situation. If the person (female) is on the phone, I probably would not ask. If the person (female) is sitting alone, I may ask. People don't open up to strangers like when I was younger, so you never know what you might be walking into. X
