The mini only looks good on a small percentage of women. Frankly I see far too many women wearing minis that really shouldn't.

I suppose that's true but I think more women can pull off the pencil than the mini. And when they can't it's usually much more obvious with the mini.

Your point re: the miniskirt was, unfortunately, proven by 2 women I saw today in downtown DC.
