Black Friday has come and gone. Online poker globally hasn't been the same. Poker room traffic and revenue is down as US players are shut out.
However, that's not to say that lobbyists and interests groups aren't hard at work here in Washington, D.C. Many brick and mortar casinos are keeping a close eye on possible legislation before numerous committees. In the interim, some high profile grinders that made a living playing poker have moved abroad to keep playing.
The time to brush up on your poker game is right now. I'm serious. I really believe that online poker will be licensed and regulated in the US next year. You need to take advantage of all the learning opportunities you have so when poker is back you're ready to take advantage. It will be a serious boom time as millions of people who saw the ads and never played jump in when they see a US government stamp of approval.
I will do my best to post some tips and strategy threads here. Please do the same and help our community get ready for the next poker boom.
